Rapids & Roots on the Presque Isle River in BW #1_3000px
Presque Isle River flow at the pothole rapids located in the Porcupine Mountains State Park, Upper Michigan. Sand and silt whirrling in a circular eddy causing deep "pot hole" features to be created through many years of erosion. On this day the river flow was at a very high rate, slightly obscurring the geologic features.
