Pewit's Nest #5 by Matt Anderson
A meandering creek leads through mossy lined bluffs. The fall colors creating a warm glowing canopy. Floating autumn leaves and reflection of trees in the water. Hidden amongst the farm and prairie fields of Central Wisconsin is a bit of a peculiar anomaly. There lies a 40’ deep natural gorge that looks as though it belongs in the Pacific Northwest. Steep mossy sides with slow moving pools littered with fall foliage. The currents create rhythmic eddy’s within the scenic canyon. A fall day such as this brings an amazing palette of colors below the warm canopy. Baraboo, Wisconsin
