Grass Plumes Dancing in the Sunset Light. My use of bokeh (buttery blurry background) here was to reduce distractions and emphasize the primary subject, which is the foreground plumes caught in an amazing golden hour catchlight. Many photos use shallow DOF to put the background in a complete unrecognizable blur. I think a better use of bokeh is to keep some organic shape that plays in harmony with the main subject matter.Grand Lake, Oklahoma
